  • Fitzpatrick's Feather Award 2019

    Congratulations to Open Starlites, winners of the inaugural Fitzpatrick’s Feather donated by long time volunteer Dale Russell Fitzpatrick.

    This award will be presented annually to the team with the highest overall average of GOE (Grade of Execution) in the Elizabeth Swan Memorial Synchro Skate.

  • Schedule changes Jan 26th and 27th

    With most skaters away this weekend attending synchro there are some schedule changes to be aware of as follows:

    Sat Glacier - Jr/Int combined session 9-10:20 (no Jr or Int session on their own) followed by Canskate (anyone not on synchro are asked if they can to stay and help on Canskate)

    Sat Paradise - Sr is in 2 parts, 3:30-4:20 and then 5:20-6:20. Canskate from 4:20-5:10 and those on Sr and not synchro asked to please help on the Canskate

    Sun Paradise - Int is moved to 9:30-10:30 followed by Canskate (anyone not on synchro are asked to help on Canskate) and then rest of day is normal sched...

    Mount Pearl Paradise Skating Club is hosting the Eastern Divisionals at the Glacier Arena on Saturday January 12 & Sunday January 13. Our Club relies on the support of its members to be successful when hosting competitions and are reaching out now to ensure a great event!

  • January Seminar Schedule Changes

    Please note that due to the weather today the seminar schedule for Thursday Jan 3 has been changed. Note the morning session on Thursday will be practice ice.

    On ice portion will take place in the Glacier Rink 2.

    Yoga Class will take place in the warm room of Glacier Rink 2.

    Conditioning will take place in the Glacier Rink 1 Hospitality Room.

    For the off ice and yoga classes skaters are asked to bring along a water bottle, indoor sneakers and a yoga mat.

    Snacks will be provided, skaters should bring their own lunch.
