The Avalon Region is currently seeking an Assistant Director and Secretary. The descriptions listed in their constitution are as follows:
The Assistant Director shall
(a) Perform such duties as may be delegated by the Region Director, and
(b) Chair all meetings in the absence of the Regional Director.
The Secretary shall
(a) Attend all meetings and record the minutes thereof;
(b) Keep an up to date record of all club executives in the Avalon Region;
(c) Be responsible for all correspondence to and from the ARSCNL, and (d) Repo...
MPPSC is looking at Club Jackets for all skaters. We will be showing samples tomorrow, Saturday November 10th, 2018 from 10 am to 11:30 am in the viewing room at Glacier 1. Cost is $134 plus HST and includes club logo and name.
Our CanSkate Coordinator Joanne Burry will be sending out a sign up notice early next week (Sept 10/11).
Assignments will be done on a first come first serve basis (requests received before the notice will not be considered).
Any skater registered in the club that is 12 years old and has the former Jr Bronze Freeskate test or new Star 3 Freeskate as of August 31, 2018 is required to PA and anyone skating more than 3 sessions a week, including synchro, is expected to PA twice a week (alternatively you may pay a $200 fee). McKenna Mercer was named Competitive Skate Athlete of the Year last night at the Skate NL Awards Gala. Executive member Perry Dalton accepted the award on her behalf from Skate NL Skating Programs Director and long time MPPSC supporter Betty Brett.

Town of Paradise - 28th Annual Municipal Awards (April 18, 2018)
Congratulations to MPPSC skaters Katie Slaney & Jenna Bradley, recognized last night at the Town of Paradise Municipal Awards.
